Growth Habit:
Waterhousea floribunda an evergreen, medium-sized Australian native with a rounded crown and beautiful pendulous formation.
Foliage:
Thin, long, dark green, leaves, with a sheen on the upper side and paler underneath. Some new growth displays red tips.
Floral:
Small, white, scented fluffy flowers proliferate in clusters during summer.
Preferred growing conditions:
Performs in full sun or part shade. Prefers moist, well-drained soil conditions and can tolerate light frost once established. Does not require much watering once settled.
Landscape Use:
Excellent choice as a fast growing screen or as an ornamental tree in larger gardens and parks due to its beautiful floral display and weeping habit. Pruning will ensure dense habit and shape maintenance. If desired, can be kept to 5 metre height with regular pruning.
