Deciduous. Leaves are rounded with five serrated, pointy lobes. Brilliant leaf colour (green) variation from yellow to orange to red.
Insignificant small red to purple flowers in spring.
Preferred growing conditions:
Light dappled shade.
Evenly moist, well drained soil.
Protect from drying winds.
A very popular species. Most often used for garden ornamentation, particularly due to its magnificent display of superb orange to red autumn foliage.
