Acer palmatum
Description: A medium deciduous maple notable for coral-red bark that provides striking winter structure and colour. Produces yellow-green spring foliage that matures to lime then turns brilliant orange to coral-red in autumn. Upright-rounded habit makes it an attractive focal specimen in small to medium gardens and courtyards.

Prune lightly after flowering to shape and encourage new growth; avoid heavy removal of older wood which may not reshoot readily.
