Once established, the rounded, widespread and semi-pendulous branch formation adds to the appeal of these trees. Young branches have a distinct ‘zig zag’ pattern.
Foliage:
Deciduous.  Soft fern-like leaves, generally displaying bright golden yellow colouring which is retained all summer.

Preferred growing conditions:
Thrives in fertile, deep, moist, well-drained soil.
Tolerates air pollution and moderately saline soils
Can cope with occasional wetness.
