The Coral Bark Maple, also known as Acer palmatum 'Senkaki' or 'Sango Kaku', is prized for its bright coral-red bark on its branches. which is particularly striking in winter when the leaves have fallen off. The tree also has green leaves in the summer, which turn yellow in the winter. This tree is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree, typically growing to around 10-15 feet tall. Additionally, the tree is tolerant to many soil types, drought, and can grow well in full sun to partial shade. And it also has good resistance to pests and diseases. The combination of colorful bark and seasonal foliage color makes it a great ornamental addition to any landscape.
